Description
This fire sprinkler emergency shutoff tool is designed specifically for concealed fire sprinkler heads. Concealed heads always stay inside the ceiling when activated. This includes the main frame. Only a delicate sub-frame for the water deflector drops down when activated.
The concealed head tool, allows you to stop water flow with a specially designed cone stopper rather than the normal expanding jaws of the regular sprinkler head shutoff tool.
Concealed fire sprinkler heads are often found in large institutional or office facilities.
Works with the following types of fire sprinkler heads: Ceiling mount sprinkler head.

Use:
Before use, install the appropriately sized stopper cone in the tool for your fire sprinkler system.
When an accidental sprinkler head activation occurs, push the tool up from the side into the sprinkler head until the jaw is within the head’s frame. Pump the caulking lever to expand the jaws until the water stops.
