Installing Door Drip Flashing

Door drip flashing is most commonly installed above commercial doors in concrete walled buildings to prevent water from entering between the door and door frame. This moisture often causes doors to rust.

To install, center your drip flashing above the door and predrill 3 holes. For concrete walls, use plastic expanding plugs with your mounting screws. Once the drip flashing is in place, apply clear exterior sealant along the top edge of the flashing to ensure water runs over the flashing.
