One of the most common entry points for mice, rats and other pests is right underneath your door. If you can slide a pencil under your door then unfortunately that is enough room for pests to get inside. Our Anti-Pest Door Sweep is the best way to prevent and deter pests from forcing their way underneath your door and inside of your property. This door sweep features a unique design to prevent pests from chewing their way through. The sweep is constructed with a metal mesh heavy duty vinyl outer skin. Inside, the core of the sweep is filled with a steel fiber fabric that mice, rats, and other pests will not chew through. For this reason it provides a barrier that is virtually impenetrable when up against rodents and other pests.
The Anti-Pest Door Sweep is a fantastic pest management solution that does not rely on the use of harsh chemicals. Because of the chemical-free nature of this product it is perfectly suited for use in Restaurants, Food Processing Plants, Warehouses, Hotels and Motel, Schools, as well as Day Care Centers. It can be installed onto any door that measures up to 36” wide and can be installed onto wood, steel, or aluminum doors.

Installation:
- Sweep should be mounted on the outside of the door.
- Measure door width and cut the sweep to fit. This may not be necessary. If trimming to fit is required, cut excess material from the end of the sweep that will be on the hinged side of the door.
- When cutting the sweep, best results are obtained by first using a hacksaw to cut through the aluminum retainer and then sturdy shears to cut the rubber and steel fabric filling. NOTE: Sawing through the filling is not recommended.
- Mark Screw Holes
- Drill pilot hole for screws using a 7/64” bit
- Attach sweep with the included stainless steel mounting screws Adjust sweep position so sweep does not impede proper closing and latching of door.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the door sweep makes even contact with the threshold or floor across its width
