Bike ramps allow easier access for cyclists to areas where it is prudent to walk their bikes up or down stairs. Providing easier access for cyclists helps minimize parking congestion and promote green transportation.
Also, a bicycle stairway ramp promotes safety on crowded stairways by providing a clear lane for walking a bike. Carrying a bicycle up stairs tends to take up more space across the width of the stairway, and this may cause other pedestrians on the stairway to inadvertently be hit or bump into the bicycle.
Our bike ramps are constructed of all welded solid aluminum and are custom sized for each set of stairs. This allows us to make a bike ramp that is one solid piece so it will last under heavy use in busy commercial and residential spaces.

Installation
Bike ramps are built to fit stairwell length. They are typically installed on concrete stairs and bolted to the stairway using concrete anchors and secure anti-theft mounting hardware.
The standard location is on the right side of the stairwell when travelling up the stairs, and typically the center-line of the ramp is installed 8 to 10 inches from the center-line of the railing.
