Plastic access cover for securing handles or latches on cabinets that need to be opened during an emergency. For use on your emergency supply cabinets.
When using traditional (locked or unlocked) cabinets to store emergency supplies, items are often accessed and used during everyday situations. If your emergency supplies are not tracked and kept stocked up, they may not be available when a serious emergency occurs.
The breakable cover is easily installed over a latch requiring the cover to be broken in case of emergency to access the latch and open the cabinet. The cover has a laser-scored 4 piece plastic face which can be easily broken with the included hammer or any blunt object.
The cover can also be opened using included keys which should be kept in a secure location.
Once the emergency has been responded to, emergency supplies can be restocked in the cabinet, and a new cover face installed.
Installation:
Line up mounting holes on cabinet and secure to cabinet using bolts (for steel cabinets) or screws (for wood cabinets).
Replacement breakaway faces are bolted with machine screws to the face of the cover. Unlock the cover to install new faces with original bolts.
