Description

On building enter-phone / intercom panels, the crown lock is used by Canada Post to activate the front door electric strike so they can access your building and deliver the mail.

These switches are a popular target for thieves trying to access a building to steal mail, or to break into vehicles, suites, bike rooms, and storage lockers.

The crown lock guard protects the cylinder from brute force attacks to stop unlawful entry using this method. It makes it much harder to pry open the thin stainless steel cabinet where the crown lock comes through or too turn the entire lock using pliers or vice grips.

It’s one more innovative tool to help make your property a hard target against break and entry.
