Description
Door Louvre vents allow ventilation for cooling and for pressure equalization between rooms. These Lover style vents have a fusible link and spring activated closing mechanism that will activate to close the vent in the event of a fire.

Installation
- Door cutout size must be the same as order
size of louver. - The door cutout may require the use of
reinforcement per door manufacturers’ listing. - Position the fusible link on top. Install both
the louver and auxiliary frames simultaneously
using the #8 x 1″ long screws furnished. The
louver handle and screw heads should be on
the inside of the door (opposite corridor side). - Tighten the Phillips head screws by hand.
Power screwdrivers are not recommended.
Note: Rockwood is not responsible for
customer painted louvers, due to possible
changes to operating condition.
CAUTION. Fasteners should be tightened
evenly all around, but not over tightened.
It is recommended to tighten fasteners in
alternating sequence to ensure balance.
