Description
Emergency fire sprinkler head shutoff tool for accidental activation of sprinkler heads. This is a critical tool for preventing flood damage during construction, tenant improvements, or general repairs when working around sprinkler heads.
Fire sprinkler heads occasionally get bumped or otherwise activated when people are working around them. The result can be tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage due to flooding before the fire sprinkler system can be shut down.
This unique shutoff tool is specially designed to engage the sprinkler head frame and stop the water flow until the system can be properly shut down and restarted.
Works with the following types of sprinkler heads:
Pendant fire sprinkler head, Upright fire sprinkler head, wall mount sprinkler head, and semi recessed fire sprinkler head.
Specifications:
All metal construction with rubber stopper pads.
Use:
Push the shutoff tool jaws (closed) into the sprinkler head. Pump the caulking lever to expand the jaws until the water stops.
Accessories:
- 3/4″ sprinkler head size attachment
- Sheared sprinkler head attachment (1/2″ and 3/4″ available)
