Heavy duty roof drain marker for use on flat commercial roofs to identify roof drains when covered in snow. Built to withstand wind and snow storms.
During winter, snow can blanket a roof and completely cover and conceal roof drains. Over the course of the winter when several snowfalls and melts can occur, significant snowfall can cause leaks to occur if the melting snow can not readily drain off the roof. In these cases, it’s important to be able to identify roof drains and clear snow, ice buildup, and accumulated debris away from them to allow proper drainage.
Smaller wire flag solutions require attachment to a roof drain cover and are subject to loss or damage during heavy storms. This freestanding flag has a heavy steel base and rigid pole able to withstand harsh weather conditions without attachment.
The large rubber feet protect the roof and drain, lifting the flag base to allow drainage while also enabling the base to provide a protective cover to prevent gravel and large debris from entering and clogging the drain – similar to how a roof drain cover would.

Installation and Use
Place over mouth of uncovered commercial roof drain.
Use to periodically identify roof drain locations during snowfall and snowmelt conditions to clear the areas surrounding roof drains to maintain good drainage.
