Rubber parking curbs, also known as car stops, are made from 100% recycled rubber. Each curb has pre-molded holes, yellow reflective stripes for maximum visibility and can be anchored to either concrete or asphalt surfaces. They are an excellent solution for both indoor and outdoor parking.
These curbs help protect your sidewalk curbs, and item on the sidewalk such as signs, building columns, benches, and planters from being hit by vehicles when they park in the parking stall. They are most commonly used in condominiums, apartment complexes, restaurants, parking lots, private facilities, indoor parking, shopping centres and garages. The 4″ height of the curb greatly reduces the potential for damage to cars compared to traditional concrete parking curbs. Because they are made from rubber, this also helps protect vehicles that are low to the ground if they bump up against the curb.
Unlike concrete or plastic curbs, which require constant replacements, rubber parking curbs are safer and much more durable. In comparison, the rubber will not chip, crack, or fade when compared to plastic or concrete. Another advantage of rubber curbs is that they are 1/10th the total weight of a concrete curb in comparison and can be easily set up in either permanent or temporary positions to direct traffic or block off areas from traffic. And they can be moved around easily as the situation demands. Additionally, rubber is a very flexible material and as such the rubber parking curb can bend to the shape of uneven road surfaces. The rubber is also resistant to ultraviolet light, moisture, oil, and extreme temperatures.

Installation utilizes 4 spikes for asphalt roadways or 4 lag bolts for installation on concrete surfaces. You can also use industrial adhesive, applied with a caulking gun, to secure the curb to the ground. A combination of adhesive with spikes or lag bolts will give you the strongest bonding installation. And compared to concrete curbs weighing several hundred pounds, rubber curbs can easily be installed by one person.
